Dav1, or Dav on SSForum, is the head sysop/ban admin of Desert Storm, and an administrator on SSforum.net

Dav first discovered Continuum in 2003 while he was searching for free games on Download.com Since then, he moderated in the zone Flaghell in late 2003, eventually becoming owner of the zone on the SSZ server. In 2004, Dav became super moderator in Desert Storm and was later promoted to sysop in 2005.

On SSForum, Dav started off as a spammer on the forum, however, as his contributions towards the community grew, he would be made a moderator of the Technical Support forum, and later of the General Discussion forum. After a short break, Dav was given a super moderator position in 2007 and administrator rights in 2008.

• Dav1 is not Dav4 nor does he have any relation to this player.
• Dav1 is not from the Netherlands, he is from the UK.
• Dav1 does actually know how to fly a ship and often shocks the players of Desert Storm by doing so.
• Dav1's spelling is marginally better then it appears in game
