Sysop commands

These are the commands that system operators can use in Subgame. For ASSS commands, check out the ASSS Wiki and the ASSS Commands Cheatsheet

All commands must have an asterisk '*' before the command in order to work.

Sysops can use all of the moderator commands and smod commands as well as the ones listed below.

Addip
Adds <ip> to ipblock.txt (deprecated)
Syntax: *addip <ip>
Addmachine
Adds machine <id> to idblock.txt
Syntax: *addmachine <id>
Addword
Adds <word> to the obscene list
Syntax: *addword <word>

Bandwidth
Sent privately, will set (or display) their CutbackWatermark. If you set theirs, will override the cfg file's setting for Latency:CutbackWatermark for them.
Syntax: *bandwidth [#]

Delfile
Deletes <file> from server. Cannot delete some files (.dll, .exe, etc)
Syntax: *delfile <file>

Einfo
Sent privately, displays player's UserID number and their screen resolution. Also displays which client they are using: VIE (Subspace) or Continuum.
Energy
Sent privately, allows ticked person to view other players energy levels.

Get server.ini file variable
Syntax: *g*<variable>
Getfile
Downloads <filename> from server.
Sent privately, downloads file from player's computer. (private command deprecated)
Syntax: *getfile <filename>
Getnews
Downloads news.txt to your SS folder.
Getobscene
Downloads obscene.txt
Getsmodlist
Downloads smod.txt
Getsysoplist
Downloads sysop.txt

Lag
Sent privately, lists all of the ticked player's lag info
Listip
Lists all IP numbers from ipblock.txt (deprecated)
Listmachine
Lists all machine ID numbers from idblock.txt
Log
Display a log of messages printed on server screen
Lowbandwidth
Sent privately, help prevents lag. Can only use 0 or 1. 0 is normal, 1 means that every packet is sent twice.
Syntax: *lowbandwidth <0/1>

Messagelogging
Sent privately, detects if a player is logging messages, and at what level if the player is a sysop.
Mirror
Shows what everyone sees you as. No one else can see it, and will always be a spider.
Monitor
Sent privately, shows you all commands from player at certain text levels. (deprecated)
Levels: 0 = Public, 1=Priv and public, 2=Priv/public/team, 3=priv/public/team/chat, 4=all
Syntax: *monitor <0-4>

Points
Sent privately, will add points to a player. If negative, will subtract.
Syntax: *points <#>
Putfile
Uploads <filename> from server. Cannot upload some files (.dll, .exe, etc)
Sent privately, uploads file to player's computer. (private command deprecated)
Syntax: *putfile <filename>
Putnews
Uploads news.txt from your SS folder to server.
Putobscene
Uploads obscene.txt.
Putsmodlist
Uploads smod.txt.
Putsysoplist
Uploads sysop.txt.

Removeip
Removes <ip> from ipblock.txt (deprecated)
Syntax: *removeip <ip>
Removemachine
Removes <machineID> from idblock.txt.
Syntax: *removemachine <machineID>

S
Set server.ini file <variable>
Syntax: *s*<variable>
Say
Makes a player say something without them really typing it (will allow ? and * commands through this) (deprecated)
Syntax: *say <text>
Shutdown
shutdowns server (terminates process) optionally runs [filename.exe]
Syntax: *shutdown [filename.exe]
Smoderator
Sent privately, grants temporary super moderator priveleges to player.
Stat
Displays server statistics
Super
Sent privately, gives ticked player super ship with everything.
Sysop
Sent privately, grants temporary sysop priveleges to ticked player.
System
Do DOS command access (priv to player or public to server) (deprecated)
Syntax: *system <command>

Thor
Sent privately, sets player's thor level. 0 is normal, greater than 1 is instant death. The larger the number, the larger the blast radius.
Syntax: *thor <#>

ufo
Sent privately, gives ticked player UFO ship. Can be turned on and off.

version
Tells what subgame version it is.
